IRON MAIDEN: Eddie Rips Up The World

October 20, 2004

According to a posting at the IRON MAIDEN fan site MaidenFans.com, IRON MAIDEN's upcoming tour will likely be called "Eddie Rips Up The World Tour", based on the various posters appearing for the already-announced dates. The trek will apparently comprise between 20 and 25 shows. It is unknown if this number represents the scope of the entire tour or only its European leg.

Nothing is known about the opening date of the tour and the continents that will be visited. However, MAIDEN vocalist Bruce Dickinson has told the Swedish newspaper Goteborg Posten that the last show in Europe will be the Gothenburg gig at Ullevi on July 9 (this is still in line with flying rumors that MAIDEN might make an appearance on Ozzfest 2005 in the USA).
